jack and {whoever he could find} went up the hill ....

To fetch a pail of water.

So one hot Chicago day we decided to head to the ocean. Or Lake Michigan. Tomayto Tomahto. Jack absolutely loves the sand and the water and all that crazy fun stuff. He also loves his pail. And he loves filling up his pail with water and pouring it into a hole in the sand made by his dada. So this was the game we played 14,324 times. Jack would walk down to the water and fill up his pail. And Jack would walk back to his hole in the sand. And then he would want to do it all over again. Did I mention the 14,324 times thing? Ok, good.
So first came Uncle Dan's turn.
Then it was mama's turn.
Then dada's turn.
And then we eventually got smart and said
"Go get your own damn water Jack!"
Just kidding.
Then it was my turn.

The End.

  10. I don't think it would be possible to say no to anything that adorable, even if it is kind of exhausting. Love the picture of him just chillin' among his sandcastles!
