a few things I would buy again

Oh and yes, I was eating in these pictures. It's the only way to get me to stand still for the camera. Give me a cracker and cheese and I'll pose all day.

So it's no secret that I'm cheap. So I probably don't need to mention the fact that I spent three of my four lunch hours this week talking to insurance companies and claim specialists, trying to explain to them why I do not owe that $25 co-pay. But I'm proud to say that I've purchased a few items in my life that seriously stopped my heart. Which means they were over $10. But I will admit, after having these guys for a while now, you couldn't pay me to give them up. Nope. I would buy them all over again. Here are a few things I would buy again ... and again. And no, this is not a sponsored post. I promise these people are not paying me to say these nice things about them. But maybe they should? ;)
First up ... Warby Parker glasses. They are $95, which is less than $100 and anything less than $100 makes me happy. And they are cute and fun and Dan calls me Poindexter.

Second up ... Kelly Moore bag. My gosh I love this thing. If you have a DSLR camera or a baby or a dog ... I highly recommend one of these bags. I went with the 2 Sues bag, but they are all wonderful. Not only can you store your camera and lenses, but you can store iPads and books and diapers and pacifiers  Ok, so I'm not carrying around diapers and pacifiers just yet, but there is room for a couple of tennis balls for Sherman.

Oh and this brings me to my third up ... my camera. Big fan. Still don't really know how to use the thing, but I promise you I'll get there eventually.
Fourth up ... Hunter boots. I can't say enough great things about these guys. Yes, they are a little pricey for rubber, but when you wear them every day like me, you can justify the purchase. Kind of. But honestly, they go in rain, snow and shine. And the muddier the dog park, the better.
Ok, I'll do a fifth up too. TOMS. It took me a while to purchase these guys. Wasn't sure if I'd like them, but they won me over. I wear them outside; I wear them inside. They're good outdoor shoes and they're great little slipper shoes for cold, hardwood floors like we have. Not to mention ....

I am officially cut off.
Which means it's your turn to go buy something fun.
Tell your significant others that I gave you permission. :)

  5. So I've read your funny posts about being far from a fashion blogger, but can I just say ... I totally think you could. I think these are great, smart purchases! Especially that camera. I have the T3i and just love it!

Oh you are just so adorable it kills me!! Love that top pic all chopped up into three. :) And I looove my hunters! I seriously don't think you can own a dog and not have those boots (if you go to a dog park that is). Step in some dog poo, just stick them under the hose. They are so great!

  9. Oh my gosh, you are just so freakin' adorable! I had never ever even known ANY camera bag existed except that ugly "come rob me I have a nice camera" bags...I soooo totally love that bag and it is definitely on my list as are the super cute glasses (I'm blind as a bat and can't seem to wear any contacts cuz of a chronic eye issue..urr). Not much need for the boots but ya never know! Great post and welcome back - you've been sooo missed! Love my T3 too but like you, still learning :) no Toms yet either.

  11. You CRACK me up! I totally think the same way - yet I feel like I've been splurging a lot lately...weekly visits to the chiropractor at $45 bucks a pop. Don't think my husband is going to forgive you, since you gave me permission and all...

  12. Okay so you're gorgeous. And I've always wanted Hunter boots but can't justify spending that much for them for as long as I live in SoCal, where there is no snow. And hardly any rain, for that matter. Missed your posts!

  25. You are so cute! I love your hair and style. I LOVE that bag and I believe it's vegan, it says man made materials, I just wrote them asking for sure, if so that Raspberry one looks awesome, I have the same camera and when we go on our trips I never like to carry the camera bag so this would be perfect.
    Thanks! :)

  29. Well I'm finally getting caught up on my blogs and obviously this post makes me super happy. Maybe it's because I own over 50% of the items you featured and completely agree they are worth it. Still need to venture into the Kelly Moore world (to Adam's despair) but I am looking forward to it!
