romance schomance

We had such a great little anniversary weekend. Just me. Dan. Sherman. Some sweatpants. And some greasy take-out. Now Dan told me I had to at least mention that he did indeed offer to take me out for dinner. He also asked if I wanted to do something "romantic". And my response to that was "huh"?
So we ordered Chinese take-out.
I mean really.
Is there anything better than roses and a good crab rangoon?
I think not.
Oh but the night gets even more exciting.
We watched Duck Dynasty.
And took pictures of the tv. Because we're awesome like that.
And drank hot tea.
Because we're awesome like that.
And laughed.
And laughed so hard we woke up the dog.
Crap.
And so ...
the rest of our romantic, kid-less night was spent with our kid.
We continued the celebration into the next night with pizza + champagne.
We've been on a crazy health kick lately.
And finished off strong with a trip out to the country.
Complete with a fire, hot dogs, glow in the dark collars ...
and one gorgeous sunset.

Here's to another great year of marital bliss.
And lots of sweatpants.

  8. Oh yeah, that's the way to do that. You know you are truly blessed when your regular boring life - hangin' out with honey, eatin' takeout, and watching stupid tv is what you would do on a special occasion. I firmly believe that.
