a good {birth}day indeed

I took an extra early, extra long run around our little town with Sherman.
I absolutely love it when we see 0 cars and 0 people.
I opened my cards (14 of them had dogs on them).
Yes!
And speaking of dogs ...
I got flowers a reindeer "pup"cake delivered at work.
Thanks Mom and Sis.
I ate some more of these guys.
I think I've had nine. But they're mini, so it's fine.
And we had an ice cream sundae bar at work with my name written all over it.
Amen.

Not to mention, I got a gazillion awesome comments, tweets, birthday songs and emails from you amazing people.

And then I went to bed and woke up at 3am to a present from Sherman. That would be dog puke (I swear I didn't feed him a cupcake). And I never went back to sleep. This might explain me pouring orange juice in my coffee this morning instead of creamer. Yep. I did that.

Happy sleepy Thursday!

  18. What a wonderful birthday (well, except for Shermie's gift)!!! I can't believe it...it's the month of blogger birthdays (mine was Tuesday) - next year we need to coordinate and have one big cyberspace shindig! Anyway, sorry I missed your day, but Happy Belated Birthday! I hope this year is one of your best :-)

  19. That is the coolest little flower arrangement! Your family is so thoughtful.

My parents taught me that calories fly out of the food magically on your birthday. So it's totally fine.
