The boots.
Not the sport.
Hunting scares me. Which is why when everyone and their mom (literally. keep reading) said they were going to go shoot clay pigeons *emphasis on clay* over Thanksgiving break ...
I decided to do something different.
Like stand on the sidelines and take pictures of myself.
And try to save my eardrums.
And dream of being in the hot tub sipping on a glass of vino.

So back to my mom, the hunter. She seriously shot every single one of those silly clay pigeons. Amazing. And maybe a tad bit crazy.

But crazy or not, my mom is one amazing woman.
So amazing that I should probably wish her a Happy Birthday ...
which just so happened to be on Thanksgiving day.
Mom, happy {belated} birthday.
Thank you for always protecting me.
But really. You can put the gun down now. ;)

ReplyDeleteI really want to shoot a gun even though it scares the crap outta me and I don't think I could ever actually shoot an actual animal. You look just like your mom!

I love Hunters too! I bought myself the Merlot pair for Christmas! I love all the fun socks they have to go with them now!
ReplyDeleteHunters are totally cute, but I have no use for them where I live, darn! I would just look like that weird girl wishing it was cold/wet enough to wear them here. And can I just say you have perfect skin...totally smooth and looks perfect. what's your secret?
ReplyDeleteYou are just adorable...and so is your momma. I need to try out a pair of Hunters. I only hear great things!
ReplyDeleteListen, I used to believe you were a tight wad, but then I saw the Hunter boots. I would sooner wrap a plastic bag on my feet during a rain storm then spend hundreds of dollars on boots. even if they are cute. I didn't say there weren't just so we're clear.
ReplyDeletehappy birthday to your mom. birthdays are fantastic when they're happening to other people.
Happy Birthday to your mom!!! Love the boots. I always like to "dress" the part...even if I'm not participating. You know, like...ski bunny or cowgirl...I like to pretend I'm good at both :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute post for your mama! Happy Birthday to your mom!
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture! So cute!
ReplyDeleteyour mom sounds pretty cool ;) but I would be scared if I was ever on her bad side!!
ReplyDeleteshooting clay pigeons is on my bucket list... if only I could be as good as your mom!
