doing my fall dance

It's been 80 degrees here in Kansas City these last few days.
My sore throat and overpriced dayquil blame you,
crazy-weather-that-cannot-make-up-its-mind.

And so I'm here today to do a little fall dance.
Just me. My cider candle. And my cider cider.
Trying to bring back that thing called fall.

And if it truly does get down to 36 degrees tomorrow night like
Mr. Weatherman predicts ... we'll all know who truly made that happen.

So what are you dancing for?
Fall, Winter, Summer, Rain?
Beer?

  1. I will always dance for beer. Always.

As for seasons, fall here in NY has been sub par. A lot of rain, not a lot of pretty leaves. So, I'm dancing for winter. Actually getting excited for Christmas.

    Hope the weather cools off!

  22. Come to England, we are actually having some nice fall weather at the moment, 60 degrees but the sun is out and there are lots of pretty coloured leaves.

  26. It was in the high 60s here last week, and this week it's low 80s. That said, English weather can NEVER make its mind up, year-round, so this is just a warmer version of that to me. Oh, and less windy, which gets two thumbs up from me!!

    Feel better, friend!

  28. 80 degrees - oh my - we've had so much fog here it's been impossible to see a thing. I've got a Yankee kitchen spice candle on the go at the moment. The aroma is warming the house beautifully.

    Hope you feel better soon,

    Nina x

  29. It's cold and cloudy here, and we have snow in the forecast. Which means, don't worry... I'm sending all of this your way. Because clearly, I'm in complete control of the weather, not that our residences are on the same jetstream...

  34. BAHAHAHAHAHA, Shaylynn. I don't really dance either. Not unless smashed at a wedding. But my wedding video posted on my blog shows that even dancing under those conditions is not advisable for me.

But I would dance for one more lay-out worthy weekend.
