Well, it's official. We made it through another August.
We made it through another crazy busy season at work. We made it through a crazy little {long} home tour. And we made it through a whole gob of walks with Sherman ... and a whole ton of crap being picked up off the streets.
Want to see some of our August finds?
Ok!
Ok!

- Basketball
- 24 oz. Bud Light, "concealed" in a paper bag
- Golf ball (plastic)
- Street flag (this was probably marking something extremely important ... oops)
- I have no freaking clue
- Wendy's bag + pack of cigs (I guess he's a Marlboro man)
- Sonic cup
- QuickTrip cup
- Apple juice (he's only a year old ... he likes his apple juice)
Finders keepers.
Losers weepers.
Until next month ... keep recycling.

Or better yet, drop your trash in the street and Sherm will come pick it up.

That is so cute! Our puppy picks up some pretty interesting (I mean gross) things on some of his walks... a woman's weave? yeah... it happened.
ReplyDeleteHaha, cute post!! Sherm is precious, he looks SO proud of himself especially in pics #3 and #6! I want a dog!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove all those photos of Sherman, he seems very happy with his little finds.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I love how you were able to document his trash colleciton. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I love your Sherman stories...seriously the good and the bad, makes me excited to get a dog again one day.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh Gotta love Sherm he's so funny
ReplyDeleteYES! My favorite segment! haha
ReplyDeleteThese are my favorite. I love basketball.
ReplyDeleteI love that pup!!!
ReplyDeleteI love environmentally conscious Sherman! That's some good loot for the month!
ReplyDeleteThese posts are amazing! I tried to get my dog to carry a stick, and he wouldn't even do that. How lame can you be Winston?!?!? He needs some lessons from Sherman, obviously:)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that he found 2 pieces of sports equipment this month... he's such a good trash-finder! You guys could get him his own reality show at this rate. After all... they gave a reality show to that Honey-Boo-Boo.
ReplyDeleteThe street flag is my favorite. Either Sherman is being supportive of a cause, or he's trying to sabotage it!
ReplyDeleteJust doing his civic duty! I love the randomness of his pick-ups. He should lay off the Marlboro's though. That shit will kill you :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I love these posts. He is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome stash, Sherm! Keep up the good work keeping your city clean! But you really should lay off the cigs. They are bad for you.
ReplyDeleteHugs!

ReplyDeleteOh.my. This is so funny!! One of my labs decided to shred a book this morning out if the blue...does Sherman wanna come clean that up too? lol
ReplyDeleteHe's such a good helper, cleaning the streets like that. The basketball is especially impressive.
ReplyDeleteSloan is extremely jealous of the basketball find- she's a big fan of human-sized sportsballs. (yes, I just made that one word due to snickering that goes on in my house). She can take out a soccer ball in just a few minutes, but then she keeps bringing it back anyway for sad, lopsided fetching!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see litter out and about with the dogs I think of Sherman, and tell M&S that they are NOT good citizens like he is. Hopefully one day they'll at least clean up their own stuff, even if they don't pick up trash.
He needs to be a a mountain dog and rescue people . Start teaching him the scent of stupid people so you know not to rescue them.
ReplyDeleteGood job Sherman! =)
ReplyDeleteOh Sherman. You're my favorite blog dog. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Sherman needs his own TV show!!
ReplyDeletehow in the world is he fitting that whole basketball into his mouth?
ReplyDeletesherman is very talented.
Hahahaha. This will never get old. I love him...oh and you of course. (Didn't want you to be jealous of all the Sherm love)
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love dogs. No matter how annoying some of their little antics can be...they're cute anyways!! Hahaha
ReplyDeleteSherman did a good job! What a creative blog post! How cute!! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLove Sherman's trash updates. The basketball might be my favorite this time around! xo

Sherman The Trash Dog. I see a book here! And by the way, I think the neighborhood should pay him for his fine work.
