Exactly one year ago today you decided to enter this crazy world. In August ...
instead of October. You crazy kid you.

My love for you grows each and every day.
And speaking of growing ... you sure can eat.
I think you get that from your Aunt Tiff.

Happy Birthday to the cutest, silliest, smartest, bravest little one year old boy I know. That's you, silly!
Oh and since you can't read yet, I'll go ahead and tell you what Uncle Dan and I got you for your birthday. Uncle Dan got you a tool bench (go figure). And I got you ... uhhhh ... Jack, have you ever heard the story about your Auntie Tiff not being very good at buying gifts for others? I'll tell you that story as soon as you're old enough to understand. Oh yeah, I remember what I got you now. I put some moolah in your college fund. I know, pretty exciting. Just don't forget that if you choose not to go to college, that money goes to Sherman. Choose wisely, child. Choose wisely.
Happy Birthday Jack!
I love you with all my heart.

How adorable :) And hey, that college fund will pay off someday-- maybe in drinking money, but isn't that what college is for?
ReplyDeleteWow you and your sister are like identical, just with different hair colours! And as much as money for a college fund never seems exciting as a kid, I really appreciated that money that my grandparents gave me every year once I was actually in University.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jack, may your special day be filled with cake, kisses and love beyond measure.
