I think today I will let the pictures do the talking.
It's Monday.
And as you know, I've been back from Chicago for several days now.
But I just can not seem to pry myself away from these pictures {denial}.
It's Monday.
And my goal this week is to have as much fun as I did last week.

It's Monday.
And my goal this week is to have as much fun as I did last week.
Which means, I am on a mission to find four items: A swing, a pool, a baby,
and a giant scoop of ice cream jammed between two ginormous cookies.
and a giant scoop of ice cream jammed between two ginormous cookies.
I believe they call these things ice cream sandwiches. And I believe they are the world's best invention ever.
If you can help me out with any of these items ... please let me know.
I would prefer the baby first. Wait no, the ice cream. I don't know though ... a pool would feel pretty dang good right about now. Sherman and I just got back from our morning run and it was h-o-t. I could get in Sherm's pool, but he doesn't really like when I do that. I wonder if I have time to take a shower before work. Do you see how much I love you guys? I put blogging before showering in my little priority book.
So much for letting the pictures do the talking.
Did I mention it's Monday?

ReplyDeletei could use a kiddie pool right now too..
cheers!
That baby is so darn cute! I also need to get a plastic baby pool for the girls - wait who am I kidding for me to put my lazy butt in - since it has been so ungodly hot here! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeletePs. I like where your priorities are!
I can help out with 3 of the 4. =) xoxo A-
ReplyDeleteYum...the Cookie Bar looks like a place I would definitely visit! And you and your sister definitely look alike. You are both adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteI live near Chicago and need to go to a cookie bar! and I love your hat - where is it from? I bought one similar but my husband is not a fan - I'm determined to find one that looks someone decent on me. You look so cute in it!
ReplyDeleteHaha a baby?! Hilarious!!! Do the baby first as the ice cream cravings will then kick in and you can enjoy said ice cream in between two cookies in a pool and then swing yourself dry!! :) Hope you have a fabulous Monday!
ReplyDeleteI have a swing, a pool, ice cream, and cookies. No baby though...
ReplyDeleteSomething about cute baby boy's named Jack in a baby pool!! So glad you had a great visit!
ReplyDeleteI think you and Dan could do something about finding that baby. And think what a cute baby that would be!! Just sayin'...!
ReplyDeleteooooo his red white and blue outfit is just the cutest!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Happy Monday Tiff. Hope you got out the door with both shoes on the right feet ;-). Precious pictures...what a lovely memory record you have of your time in the windy city!
ReplyDeleteHe's so stinkin cute!
ReplyDeleteA cookie bar and a cute baby to play with? sign me up!
ReplyDeleteI adore his smile.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! That's not nice of Sherm to not share. and anything with the words ice cream and cookie should be amazing. And I have offered to let you have my baby for the day. But after all the running and getting into things and eating everything in sight, i fear you will send him back ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet baby.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! And a pool and ice cream sandwich sound amazing right now! Hope your list comes true :)
ReplyDeleteI just want to get a hold of that squishy baby I totally understand why you need to find one pronto!!!
ReplyDeletesorry your back to reality from your cookie, pool, baby vay cay but at least you have the pictures...and a blog to relive it all!
xo
Have a great day....
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday Tiff! I cn totally see whay you love that little guy so much. Jack is sooooo adorably cute! Oh and what a ham.
ReplyDeleteI love your mission. Wish I could join you and find those items together. It sounds like a fun adventure. Specially finding the baby one. Places I suggest for finding a baby are: (in no particular order) the baby nursery at the hospital, nurseries in general are helpful, ummm the park, moms are so busy talking with each other they won't mind you taking their baby for the afternoon, moms who have more then 5 kids, on less baby will be a help to them... just don't tell them I sent you. lol I'm just kidding he he or am I? he he kisses to you Sherman (you I don't like to share my pool with my mommy you)
you are not going to believe this....i've got a baby, a pool and a freezer full of ice cream!!! well...ot yet, but i'll totally stop and get 6 or 14 pints ont he way home. i mean, twist my arm! the only thing i'm missing is a swing, but there's a park right up the street with tons of them...i'll get your room ready! yay!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have some good goals for the week. I hope they work out! Happy Monday!!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to take over the world this week, clearly I have greater goals for the week then you do. Hum.
ReplyDeleteNot really, I have one goal this week.. GO TO THE FRIGGIN POST OFFICE.. you will want me to achieve this goal, a month later.
Oh cookie bar. That retro little spot is right in my neck of the woods! Too bad I was in Nebraska we could have had our awkward first real life meet-up!
ReplyDeleteOh yum I need a cookie bar in my town too! That would make my Monday a lot sweeter. Especially since I had the last 5 days off :( Bleh :(
ReplyDeleteThe baby, so completely adorable. I near died! I think the baby should come first, the pool, then ice cream , then swing!
ReplyDeleteAll I'm taking away from this right now is that cookie bar. mmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
You make Chicago seem like such fun! I keep asking my husband for a small pool, he's not going for it. He keeps talking about the neighbor.
ReplyDeleteYour baby nephew is adorable! And ice cream sandwiches.. mmmm. You're gonna have to come to LA, we have a little place that specializes in those with a line out the door every time and $1.50 per (HUGE) sandwich. And your choice of ice cream AND cookie flavor. Convinced yet?

1. When do we get to hear about the haircut that inspired the (adorable, btw) fedora?
ReplyDelete2. You do realize that when you kidnap Jack we're all going to be called as witnesses to the planning...
3. Yeah. It's Monday.
Cookie Bar? Oh my heavens, I'd be in BIG trouble! haha
ReplyDeleteLove the pics!! Not to mention I am drooling about an ice cream sandwich right about not!!
ReplyDeleteMmm, ice cream sandwich. Lovely pics.....sounds like a good goal for the week, I hope you manage to find all the items ;)
ReplyDeleteGah, babe is cute...and yes, the giant scoop of ice cream between two cookies? Looks amazing!! I love cookies...and ice cream.
ReplyDeletetake me to that cookie bar. bring that adorable baby too. and your hat. and sherman. yes. all of it.
ReplyDeleteJack looks fierce in those last two pictures... like "Lady, nothing gets in the way of me and what I want..."
ReplyDeleteI can't help you with any of those things. I could bake you some cookies and send them to you, but I couldn't send ice cream, because it would melt... speaking of which, we still have Girl Scout cookies, because I buy those suckers in bulk, and they're all melted due to the heat. Sometimes (always) a lack of air conditioning in the summers is a huge pain. Shay is mad at me that I still have Girl Scout cookies. She would tell me that I deserve to have a chocolatey, goopey mess on my hands.
But if you came to visit, I would get you ice cream, cookies, and a pool. And my friends have 3 year olds. Not babies, but still a lot of fun. Think about it, CO isn't that far away.
Oh friend, it is definitely Monday! Everything about today has screamed Monday to me. I love all your pics- hoping you can make this week 1/2 as good :)
ReplyDeleteIt's totally Monday. Even my pup didn't want to get up this morning. I had to drag him out of bed to go potty this morning...which isn't difficult cause he's only 18.5lbs...butttt usually he's up and ready to play. It's Monday.
ReplyDeleteNo need to shower before work!!!!!!!! I used to work at Ruby's Diner when I was in college. It was at the end of a pier. I would lay on the beach all day and then change into my work dress under the pier. (I was a swimmer in high school, so I know how to do these public changings discretely.) I would smell of all kinds of salt, tanning lotion and probably sweat. So gross. But then I met Sean who seriously insists that everyone take two showers a day and more if you have done anything too phyisical in between those two showers. Really what I am saying is.... its nice to shower, but not at the expense of having fun. Blogging is fun so skip the shower.
ReplyDeleteStorks bring babies right? So find a stork. Then ride it to an ice cream store next to a pool. I know I'm brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Chicago but I haven't been there in years! The hubs and I would love to plan a trip there! I just love that city!!
ReplyDeleteJack is so adorable!!
♥ Kyna
you're a hoot :) every.time. i love it! cute cute photos too! i dig your monday rambles :)
ReplyDeleteok that kid is the freakin cutest thing i have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteTiffs.... do I really need to say it?
ReplyDeleteI swear you are going to have a baby, like tomorrow. And I'm going to need to come see its bald little head. Or hairy head, I mean, I don't know your genes. Either way I'll bring a onesie. Swear-sie.
That sounds like some good honest fun.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I wouldn't recommend putting out a classified ad for it.
Wanted: Baby, swimming pool, a swing and ice cream.
It may lead people to hide their babes ;)
It's Tuesday night here so I feel a little closer to the weekend! Cookies and ice cream? I've not tried that - and by the looks and sounds of things I have missed out on something amazing! I'm going to have to look around to see if I can find these in my city. And what a cute little one! Those eyes and eye lashes! Happy week!
ReplyDeleteshut up, sleepy baby in a 4th of july star hat? i die. too cute!
