In case you need me, I'll be jumping out of a plane

So, did you guys know that husband and I are certified scuba divers? It's true. I mentioned it HERE. My very first post. Ever. Where were you guys on that one, huh? I could have used a few more comments. I got one.

So yes, we dive 80+ feet under water and look at fish and sharks.
And turtles. And some other cool stuff. It's awesome.
You know what else is awesome? Jumping out of planes.
Which I will be doing tomorrow. Tomorrow!

So, just in case I don't make it ... I wanted to tell you guys a few things:
I love you. I do. I love my dog (I know, shocking). I love Dan (he'll be jumping with me). I love my family; my friends. I love blogging. I love my readers. I love my sponsors (who better also be my readers). I kid. I love free stuff (HINT: You should probably keep reading). And I love this girl ...
Hi foxy readers! My name is Cora and holy smokes am I excited about being featured on The Coffeehouse! You can find me over at Miles, Papa and Me ... blogging about my dreamy baby Miles Waylon Wolf, my ginger sweetheart Steve, and all of our fantastic thrifting finds. Fortunately, I am a stay at home mama. So to keep ourselves busy and earn a couple bucks, I decided to open a space at an antique mall here in our hometown of Portland, Oregon. I can't tell you how much I love picking at thrift stores and estate sales and the best part is ... I can take my main squeeze Miles along for the finds! I also keep myself busy with Midnight Riders Jewelry which I sell on Etsy and at a few local boutiques. I have so much fun with baby in tow on our collecting adventures. But on those days when baby is being, well ... a big ol' baby and I need a break from Yo Gabba Gabba and a teething kiddo ... papa smoothly swoops in for the saving so that this mama can make her jewelry. Thanks again for having me here and come say hi to me over at the blog or on Instagram (username milesmama!).
Today Cora is offering one lucky reader a $50 giftcard to use at her amazing Etsy shop. Southwest inspired chevron earrings? Yes please!

  6. Ahhh I got my scuba certification years ago in college and I don't even have a clue where it is because (shame on me) I never used it! Good luck on jumping out of the plane, you're insane in the membrane! Love the underwater pics :)

  7. Please don't die. We could insert some mussy stuff here where it would go into details of my feelings but that would be beyond borderline creepy. So i'll just leave it at that. Have fun though. And as my momma always tells me, don't get no boo boos.

  11. I like snorkeling, but I've never tried scuba diving. Something about being surrounded by water without immediate access to air freaks me out a little!

Jumping out of an airplane freaks me out a lot! You better not die! :)

  15. I'm scuba certified, too! CHEERS! You have GOT to try cave diving in a spring - if you haven't already?! I got certified at Ginnie Springs, in Florida (my homestate). Though I'm semi-clausterphobic, the caves are truly a wonder of world, IMHO!
