he said jump and I jumped

So, this is my fourth attempt at this little blog post this morning.
I thought I would have so much to say today. But there are truly no words.
Everything I type just sounds ridiculous. I have no idea how to even begin to put skydiving into words. This was my second jump (my first was seven years ago)
and I still don't know how to describe it.

What I can tell you is this ...

I made it.
I jumped from a plane at 14,000 feet.
I survived.
I fell at the speed of 125 miles per hour for a minute and a half.
I survived.
Husband did the exact same thing as me.
And he survived too.
Hallelujah!

P.S. If you follow along on Instagram or twitter, you have more than likely already seen the picture above (sorry). I was planning on showing you a dozen more images today. This was my plan. And then I jumped out of a plane. And my plan went out the window. Literally. After jumping out of a plane, the last thing you want to do is sit at a computer and download pictures. So I sat on the couch instead. And watched movies with husband. And kissed Sherman 814 times. And just enjoyed a little thing called life.

  39. I'm simultaneously jealous and not that you did this!
I have such mixed feelings about skydiving! It looks like so much fun, such an adrenaline rush and yet, I feel that I would pee my pants the entire trip down! (Do they frown upon that kind of thing? Would they insist upon me wearing a diaper?)
That picture is awesome, and I wish I were 1/40000 as cool as you! Glad you sat back and enjoyed life instead of downloading more pictures because that's what it's all about!
P.S. I'm now stalking/following you on Instagram. Which I just so happen to think about far more often than when I'm pooping (aka on Twitter). ;)
