welcome home party + sponsors

So you all know how much fun I had in Alabama over Memorial Day weekend.
But what I didn't tell you is how much fun I had coming home to my dog.
Holy moly can this guy throw an awesome welcome home party.
I mean really ...
I want to have kids someday, but I don't think they will ever throw me a party like my dog. Sure the kids will want to give us a quick hug and a quick kiss ... and then they'll ask us where all the presents are.
I know how it goes. I was a kid once too.
But Sherman ...
Sherm truly knows how to show some love.

And speaking of love, I'm changing up my sponsor love starting in July. July! Can you believe it's already going to be July next month? Sherman helped me with the details, which you can check out over on my sponsor page.

Love you, Sherm.
Love you, Sponsors.

  1. I was once a dog. I always asked where the treats were after a few solid minutes of licking.

    Okay, I'm obviously lying.

One of my cats is always excited to see me when I get home from work. The other two are lazy.

  2. You hit it right on the head, yep when we come home from being away the kids though are happy to see us, they have this look of expentancy of what did we get them... our pups on the other hand act crazy about seeing us every day we get home from work :)
I think it's so wonderful where the proceeds of your sponsorship is going to. I love that 50% is going to help animals. Count me in for July. I'll e-mal you the size I would be interested in. You're awesome!

  9. If one dog year equals seven human years....can you imagine how long the weekend away from you was for him!!!! When I came back from Kenya, Charis would not let me out of her sight for days and if I dared to get into the car she would kick up a fuss that would make a two year old's temper tantrum seem like a walk in the park!!

There is nothing like the unconditional love of our fur babies!!!

  11. I love coming home to Sharks. He acts like I've been gone for ages every time we walk out the magic portal. He even thinks the bathroom is a magic portal. I guess I sometimes disappear into there for long periods of times. Sometimes.

  12. Seriously ... dogs really know how to show love. it still amazes me how Izabella behaves when i get home.

i am going to have my future kiddos compete with her on showing love. if they don't do it better than Izy then ...well probably shouldn't say that online, haha.

    love the pictures!

  14. Was he trying to climb into your lap? Why do chocolate labs always feel that they are just the right size to be a lap dog??? Glad you and the Sherminator are back in action again.

  36. Yes! You are so right!! Just like I said in my post a few weeks ago... Bronx is my perfect child. When I got in the car when LoLo picked me up at the airport last Friday, Bronx went wild. His tail was wagging a mile a minute and he couldn't get enough cuddle time with me. I love it. BTW your hair is still looking so cute! It was a good decision!!

  41. I love coming home to my dogs. It doesn't matter if I'm gone 5 days, 5 hours, or 5 minutes, they are always so excited!

  42. The hubs and I always talk about this...that the moment you walk through the door is the single greatest thing that has happened to your dog that day. And it happens every single day. And vacation homecomings are just too much for words. Soldiers coming home to dogs. Dont even get me started.

  43. Oh Sherman!!!! what a sweet ball of fuzzy love! my heart!
