Tonight I am going to sit on our patio with husband.
And I am going to sit very very VERY close to this candle so that the mosquitoes do not bite the crap out of my legs. Or arms. Or crotch. Don't even get me started.
Tonight I am going to play fetch with my dog.
And breathe a sigh of relief.
It's the weekend. And I don't have to go back to work until July 5th.

ReplyDeleteWe have those same candles!! And I feel your pain with mosquitoes! I had bug spray on last weekend and one BITE ME THROUGH MY SHORTS ON MY BUTT CHEEK!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Had a huge welp on my ass for 2 days!!!!! :) Enjoy your evening with the hubby and the pup!!!!!

ReplyDeleteLindsay from Trial by Sapphire said vanilla extract is a natural bug repellent- and I just got a natural moisturizer that has willow bark, and it smells a lot like bug repellent... don't know if it works, though, because bugs don't really bite me. I've got bad blood!

That's so awesome that you're off until July 5th! Yeah! I hope you did a happy dance! Mosquitoes drive me crazy! Whenever we go camping I come back looking like the mumps lady. My legs get tore up from them. I hope you have a wonderful time with your hubby and Sherman tonight. I can't say the word "fetch" in here or I'll end up with 3 very crazy dogs barking at me and demanding that I play fetch with them outside even if today is only 113 degrees HOT outside. Crazy people live in AZ. That explains a lot. :)
