sweet home alabama

sandbergphotos
The Joneses are back from Alabama. Yep, that's where we were. Alabama.
I couldn't tell you though because husband thinks one of you lovely crazies will come rob our house while we're gone.

I told him that you guys don't know where we live.
But, I guess he thinks you're crazier than I do.

Anyways, we're back from Alabama.
And Sherman is back from staying with Grandpa and Grandma Jones. He seems depressed to be home. And so do we.

Oh goodness did we have a good time. And after I go through the million pictures I took of Jack ... and after I tell Sherman just how much I missed him for the millionth time ... I will be sure to tell you all about our amazing little trip.

But for now you get to look at cowboy boots.
Why?
For starters, those are my boots. And my sexy legs. Ha. I'm kidding.
For seconds, I'm talking wedding stuff over HERE today. So, you best check it out y'all (I've been down South) so that you can make fun of the girl who wore boots with her wedding dress.

In the meantime, I'm off to look at pictures of Jack. And boats. And water. And me jumping off a rope swing into the river and almost killing myself.
And a little dog named Cody. Oh just wait until you see this dog.

  1. Your legs. Are down? I'm confused. You knew I was going to go there. YOU KNEW.

Welcome back from Alabama and tell Sherman he's more than welcome to come over here to hang with the Sharks until he undepresses.

  2. Pups do get a bit jealous when you leave them out of all the fun! Our family lives four hours away, so we have to board our dogs :( It's a "puppy club" where they get their own "room" and yard to play in. They also get to interact with other dogs... so I guess it isn't TOO terrible, but I'm sure they'd much rather be with us! Can't wait to see pictures of your trip!

  6. I want those cowboy boots.

Boyfriend won't even let me use his name. He thinks people care enough to stalk us. He's silly. He would definitely not let me post when we are not home.

  7. Glad you're home! Love the boots! Can't wait for the Jack Attack! P.S. - That's what I'm calling your post bombarding us with his precious photos! P.P.S. - I use the word "bombarding" in a completely positive and fun way. P.P.S.S. - Tell your husband I'm not crazy. Because clearly, I'm not.

  11. LOL! My husband asks me all the time "Are you going to blog about this" when he makes a sandwich, if he happens to put clothes in the dryer, etc. I wonder if he wants me to blog when we poops. Silly husband... YAY for wedding cowgirl boots! I wore flip flops. With a 6 pence scotch taped to them.. yup. Ghetto fabulous!

  19. I think cowboy boots are far cooler than the traditional chintzy David's Bridal dyeable white shoes. Have you ever worn those? I had to buy a pair one time as a bridesmaid. Terrible, terrible shoes. And since I'm most likely getting married on a ranch, who knows what crazy footwear I'll get hitched in? Love that you let all of your bridesmaids express themselves through footwear. Very cute idea.

  22. Gorgeous pics! Boots look fab!! I'm just laughing at the fact that your very {logical} husband asked you not to reveal your destination - haha! My dad asked me to quit talking ab stuff on FB bc stalkers will find out that I'm... going to the beach... so they will break in and rob me!
