mixed emotions

I've been home nearly 45 minutes now.
And I miss him dearly.
But, you know what else I miss?
My blogs.
My people.
You people.

The short plane ride home was just not enough time to play catch-up. Not to mention, husband had to show me every little road and every little river and every little building out that tiny little window.
Nope, this was not our first time flying.
This occurs every time we fly.

So, I'm off to try to forget about that perfectly round, squishy face that I miss so dearly. I'm off to bury myself in laundry and emails and amazing blogs.
Wish me luck.
I've been gone a loooooong time.

Oh and yes, there will be more pictures.
I took a couple hundred.
Ok, several hundred. Get excited.

  1. Why is spotting pools from the sky so exciting for some people? Like my Chris, he gets just as excited like it's the first pool he's ever seen..

  28. I love going on vacation but it is always so stressful once I get home. I hate unpacking and putting everything away! I'm also terrible about cleaning before I go so I usually come home to a disorganized house. Good luck with everything!

  46. welcome back, i've missed you.

although i can't promise to be as nice and silent as that little baby there.

maybe you didn't miss us as much as you thought.

  47. Totally sympathize with you on the missing babies thing....I hadn't been away from my niece for a day and was already begging my sister to text me pictures of her! Oh the life of living away from family. Sometimes it's nice. But most the time it sucks. Especially when adorable babies are involved. Glad you're back!! :)

  48. What the. I just now noticed this picture you have of my blog on your blog. I love being considered "your people". So glad you are back. Still mad at you for not inviting me along though. I will decide how long I hold that grudge.

PS. Have you ever noticed how many freakin' comments you get on your blog posts?!?! Seriously girl. You own this.
