country girl (and boy)

sandbergphotos
Last night I decided I need some new boots.
You know, to add to my other three pairs.

And a big house out in the open country (to go along with my boots).
And a few horses.
And a couple of cows.
And another dog.
Is that really too much to ask?

Husband told me "yes".
And I told husband I would be finding a new husband.
And husband told me "good luck".

We really do like each other. Don't let us fool you.

  1. That's absolutely not too much to ask. I have a house in the (semi) country. I used to be legit country but now it's becoming "urbanized"...

I also have cowboy boots that I never wear because I live in NY and people stare at me.

    Fools.

  14. Love it! I don't think it's too much to ask at all...sounds like a great life to me. Maybe this is why our men don't like us buying shoes...because one thing leads to another, and another... :-)

  16. Ha! Hey, if that's what makes you happy, he better figure out a way to make it happen! ;) Just kidding. The Hubs and I say all the time, we're buying a condo on the beach when we retire. So, one day you might get your house out in the country... you just might have to wait a bit. lol

  18. I found my first pair of Justins (black) at a thrift store for $20. No seriously. People give away the nicest things...they were in fabulous condition. I've been looking for the perfect pair of cowboy boots to join them for a while. And by perfect I mean purple or brown and not a kazilion dollars. Because obviously now I'm spoiled to nice cheap thrift store boots.I love the ones you have on in the first pic. SO pretty. :)

  24. For someone who commented that buttons aren't easy to make, your button looks amazing! Your pic is so clear and pretty, and your font is perfect, and it reminds me how sloppy and blurry mine is! Yikes!
