christmas in march

How to make Christmas come in March:

First you need a sister.
And this sister must love to shop.
And your shopaholic sister must get tired of clothes easily.
Then you call up sister and tell her that you really need some new clothes.
Then sister ships you a gigantic box of clothes that she no longer wants.
Little sister gets clothes for free.
Big sister gets to go shopping for new clothes.
Both sisters live happily ever after.

P.S. My sister is officially a mom. She now sends me things in Pampers boxes. Pampers!
Oh how times have changed.

  1. haha you two sound like me and my sister! Although I always just pick it up from her when I visit. The mail adds a nice little surprise factor though!

This doesn't work when you have a brother :(

  5. You have got to be kidding me.

I have NEVER wanted a sister ever, and now I do.

  6. It does seem like a perfect arrangement. And you just wait until you have babies-- those diaper boxes are awesome to pack things in!!!

  7. I believe said sister is the one who kept a daily record of what she wore to school in her agenda so she didn't repeat outfits. Good use of the ol' agenda!

  9. Isn't having a big sister the greatest? I'm always taking clothes and things from my sister, I'm lucky we're the same size!! xo

  10. And in return she sends her sister Gates BBQ sauce from KC (hint, hint). Mrs. E - I still do that, but instead of writing it down I hang my clothes up in order in my closet so my husband doesn't make fun of me! Some things never change...
